We are educating cooperatives through our new DotCoop Affiliate Scheme. This is a series of partnerships between DotCoop and other cooperative membership bodies and federations around the world. We aim to create a positive triangle of communication and support to empowerĀ cooperatives.
The Affiliate Relationship Visualized.

Our Partnership objectives:
š To work together to identify what support is required by the cooperative members of the Affiliate when it comes to Cooperative Identity and Principle 6.
š Explore the most impactful solutions to help support the membership of the affiliate, by connecting with local digital service providers for the .coop and .creditunion domains, online services, the Marque, as well as making cooperative tools and educational content available.
š To provide an exchange for regional data on cooperatives to be placed on the Cooperative World Map, and for cooperatives to submit stories for posting on stories.coop.
We are happy and keen to work with any organisation that wishes to partner; to celebrate their membership, put cooperative data on the map, make the Cooperative Identity assets available and to be linked with the closest digital service providers. If your organisation would like to become a DotCoop Affiliate, please email tom@identity.coop and we will welcome you!

Co-op News is a magazine and news website that connects, champions and challenges co-ops and co-operators around the world. It was founded in 1871 by retail societies in the UK, who wanted their own press organ to share news, ideas, successes and challenges. As a multistakeholder co-operative, it is owned by members. These members include international individuals and organisations, who participate in its democracy. Find out more at thenews.coop/membership.
