History:
The Co-operative Rating & Award Society of Nigeria (CRASoN) is a value-based Rating and Award Institution. CRASoN was founded on the universal principles of cooperation and its ethical values to monitor, track, evaluate and report the economic performances and social impacts of Co-operative Societies, with other initiatives geared to raise their profile to policymakers, researchers, manufacturers, development partners, governments and INGO’s amongst all stakeholders; to get the desired attention needed to aid the development and growth of the sub-sector in Nigeria, afterwards mobilize such co-operatives for the achievement of the nation’s Economic Sustainability Plan coupled with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nigeria.
Our mission is to redefine a new data collection process, integration, and analysis of cooperative economic performances and social impact on its members-patrons and the nation at large. We will use this to enhance the promotion of cooperatives and recognition of cooperative members while remaining socially responsible in Nigeria.
Our Vision:
To be recognized as the Co-operative sector’s award and rating institution of repute that inspired and redefined the cooperative standard of operations in Nigeria.
